The Who's in the Wrong? card game boxWho's in the Wrong?™ · Relationship Edition
The story behind the game

Every story has two sides. We built a game to see both.

Why we created Who's in the Wrong?, who it's for, and what we hope happens when you play it with the person you love.

Every couple knows the moment. Something small happens, a late phone call, a forgotten plan, a purchase nobody talked about, and suddenly two people who love each other are standing on opposite sides of the same story. Each one is sure they are right. Each one feels unheard.

We know that moment too. We are a married couple, and we have had our share of those conversations. What we learned is that most arguments are not really about who is right. They are about whether we are willing to see the situation through the other person's eyes.

That is why we created Who's in the Wrong?

Why we created it

To help people see through two lenses

Who's in the Wrong? is a relationship card game built on real-life scenarios: the situations couples actually go through around trust, money, boundaries, family, friendships and respect. Every card asks one simple question. Husband or wife, who's in the wrong?

The question is simple. The conversation it starts is not. When you read a scenario out loud, you are forced to look at it from both sides. You hear how your partner sees it. You hear how you see it. And very often, you realize the answer is not as obvious as you thought.

Our goal is awareness. We wanted to put everyday relationship situations in front of people so they could step outside their own perspective, even for a minute, and understand why someone else might think, feel or react differently.

"Most arguments aren't about who's right. They're about whether we're willing to see it through the other person's eyes."

Seeing yourself in the scenario

The hardest person to see clearly is yourself

Most people only talk about the good in their relationships. We post the highlights, celebrate the wins and keep the hard parts quiet. That's human. But it also means many of us never take an honest look at our own patterns: the way we react, the things we expect, the habits that hurt the people we love without us noticing.

A scenario on a card feels safe because it is about someone else. Then something happens. You recognize yourself in it. Maybe you are the one who would have made that call at midnight. Maybe you are the one who would have been hurt by it. Either way, you see it, and that is where change begins.

We believe self-awareness is one of the most powerful things a person can bring into a relationship. This game is our way of making that awareness easier to reach, and a lot more fun to get to.

Husband's best friend, a woman, calls him after midnight because she has a flat tire.

Through his lens

She's a friend I've known for years. She was stranded and scared. Of course I'm going to answer.

Through her lens

Why is another woman calling my husband at midnight? Who does she call when he's not available?

Your verdict

A safe way to learn how someone thinks

Before you do life together, know how they think

One of the most important reasons we created this game is for couples who are still deciding their future. If you are dating, getting serious or engaged, Who's in the Wrong? gives you a safe, lighthearted way to learn how your partner really thinks.

How do they handle conflict? What do they believe about money, loyalty and family? Do they take responsibility, or do they always find a reason why it's the other person's fault? These are questions that are hard to ask directly. Across a deck of scenarios, the answers come out naturally.

Sometimes what you learn will bring you closer. Sometimes it will raise a conversation you need to have now, not five years into a marriage. Either way, you gain clarity, and clarity helps you decide whether this is someone you want to build a life with.

For couples who are already married, the game opens a door to the topics that are easy to avoid. A scenario on the table can be the starting point for working through something real in your own relationship, with a little more laughter and a lot less pressure.

Bigger than a game

A movement for stronger relationships

Who's in the Wrong? grew out of something bigger. Through the BKBQ Movement, we have spent years building community through events, advocacy, mentorship and honest conversation, because we believe strong relationships build strong families, and strong families build strong communities.

The card game brings that mission into living rooms. Our weekly skits bring it to screens. And on Friday, November 27, 2026, we are bringing it to the stage with Who's in the Wrong? Live, our first live game show, where contestants defend real scenarios and the audience decides.

"The question on every card is who's in the wrong. What we really hope you find is understanding."
